Eyelid Surgery
As we age, the skin around our eyes can sag, look puffy and wrinkled, creating tired or angry-looking eyes that appear older than they really are. Because we use our eyes expressively each day, they are usually one of the first areas to show visible signs of aging. Various factors such as genetics, ethnicity, sun exposure, and smoking all play a role in the progression of these changes.
Rejuvenated Appearance
Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) rejuvenates the upper and/or lower eyelids and helps you to look more rested and alert. Excess skin, fine lines, wrinkles, and fat deposits can all be removed and the eyelids lifted to provide you with a more youthful look.
Blepharoplasty is often combined with Botox Cosmetic® to minimize wrinkles, alleviate crow’s feet or dark circles around the eyes and to provide longevity of your results. Blepharoplasty can also be used to westernize the Asian upper eyelid. During your consultation with Dr. Turner, expectations, risks and desired outcomes will be discussed.
